This temple is located at the highest point of Phnom Penh. According to legend, this is where a woman named Penh [Penh] found four Buddha statues that are brought within the Mekong. In place of the discovery it has been built the first temple, and the city subsequently got its name Phnom Penh (Phnom Penh) and translates as Hill of Penh.
